Speaking of bands who have had meteoric rises, Spiritbox was nominated for a boatload of awards last year after they released their debut record Eternal Blue. The band was an honorable mention on last year's Countdown (for "We Live In A Strange World) and apparently wrote enough material for a 3 song EP less than a year after the album was released. All 3 songs rip hard and "Sew Me Up" has a tremendous 3 chord loop on the verses that is damn near impossible to not headbang to, while vocalist Courtney LaPlante again puts on a clinic for how heavy music should be sang when done clean. All 3 songs on the Rotoscope EP landed in the top 10 of US Hard Rock Digital charts.
Favorite line: "Hold on to hate, too hollow for anyone to just remain in shadow, pulling backwards to sew me up"
